Kennard Cemetery, Washington County, NebraskaCemetery Information: The Kennard Cemetery was established in 1891 and is about a mile west of town. The cemetery was incorporated in 1918 and is cared for by a board. In recent years the cemetery has been trimmed up and some older trees removed and new ones planted. The old fence was also removed and a new entrance made on the north east corner. Since 1955 the Legion Post from Kennard has conducted Memorial Day Services at the cemetery. American flags line the driveway to make a beautiful sight.
