Services For Mrs. Wayne Pittman Were Held
Services for Mrs. Wayne (Edna M.) Pittman were held Monday, April 4th. at the Arlington Community Church with Rev. John Fritzmeyer officiating. Mrs. Pittman died at the age of 56 in the Blair Hospital on Friday, April 1.
Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery with Reckmeyer Funeral Home in charge of arrangments.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her husband Wayne, one son Donald and one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Carol) Boies and three grandsons. All live in Arlington.
Also surviving is her father, Elmer Spoon, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, a brother, Max Spoon of Oxford, Kansas.
Mrs. Pittman was born on May 22, 1920 at Cherokee, Oklahoma. She has been a resident of Arlington since 1960.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Arlington Rescue Squad.
Pallbearers were Robert Plugge, Alton Adams, Ralph Hayne, Bill Rhea, Kenneth Jones and Robert Wilkins. Organist was Mrs. Alvin Voss.
