Daniel McPherson died at Paxton, Neb., last Friday and the body was brought here Monday by his son-in-law, Scott Allen. The funeral was held at the Congregational church at 1:30 today and interment made in the Blair cemetery. Mr. McPherson was 67 years of age and died rather suddenly of pneumonia. He was born in Canada and came to this county in 1866, settling on a farm in DeSoto township. About four years ago he went out to Keith county, where he died. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Scott Allen, of this county, and Mrs. Mark Dupugh, who lives in Arkansas. Also a son, Wm., who lives in Denver.
