Kenneth R. Rahlfs, 66, of Blair, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, at Good Shepherd Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Kenneth Roy Rahlfs was born May 11, 1938, on the family farm northeast of Orum to Roy and Ella (Jensen) Rahlfs. He was baptized on May 17, 1942, and confirmed on April 12, 1953, at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Orum.
He graduated from Blair High School in 1955. He served six years in the Nebraska National Guard and was called to active duty for one year during the Berlin Crisis.
He worked at Rolland Farm Supply for nearly 40 years, then worked for Monke Brothers at Nickerson.
He is survived by his mother, Ella; sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Leehy; brothers and sister-in-law, Mitchell and Mary Jean Rahlfs, and John Rahlfs, all of Blair; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
