Leland W. Svendgaard, 67
Blair native Leland W. Svendgaard, 67, died quietly in his sleep in the early morning hours of Dec. 24, 2004, in Peoria, Ariz., after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Feb 6 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 8206 Blondo Street, Omaha, with Pastor Jason Caddy officiating.
Mr. Svendgaard is survived by his wife, Donna, of Littleton, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Frank Lynch, of Albuquerque, N.M.; stepsons and wife, Mitchell and Rena Sainovich and Steven Sainovich, all of Omaha; brother and sister-in-law, David and Rosemary Svendgaard of Sun City, Ariz.; sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Ron Regier of Kansas City, Kan.; and four grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland W. “Woodie” Svendgaard, Sr., and Marjorie (Kuhr) Svendgaard.
