Services For Emma Pratt Were Held Friday

Services for Emma Caroline Pratt, age 92, were held on Friday, September 2. Mrs. Pratt died at Hosington, Kansas. Graveside services were held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas with the Rev. O. W. Hollis officiating. Nicholson and Ricke Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Her husband, Sylvester V. Pratt, died in February of 1950. Surviving son and daughters are as follows: Mrs. Harry (Dorthea) Schwindt, of Ness, Kansas; Mrs. Ira Helen Dent, of Culver, Kansas; Mrs. Paul (Blanche) Smith of Great Bend, Kansas; and Leland R. Pratt of Topeka, Kansas.

Mrs. Pratt was born at Orum, Nebraska on April 3, 1855 and married in Omaha in 1913.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
