SERVICES FOR MRS. MAUDE PRICE WERE HELD
Mrs. Maude A. Price, resident of this area for more than 27 years, died last Friday at Community Memorial Hospital at Blair. She had suffered a lingering illness. She had lived on a farm in the Gardner school district just west of Blair.
Mrs. Price, who was 62 years of age, was born at Tekamah, Nebraska January 13, 1906 as Maude Wilder. As a young woman she lived in Burt and Thurston counties before moving to Blair in 1941.
She graduated from the Rosalie, Nebr. High School in 1924 and later taught school in Thurston county for seven years.
She was married to James Price in 1931 at Elk Point, South Dakota. Mr. Price preceded her in death, having died in 1967.
Mrs. Price is survived by a son, Jack who is at home.
She had two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Warnock, of Walthill, Nebr., and Mrs. Helen Larsen, of Meridian, Idaho. She also had four brothers: Byron Wilder, of Tucson, Arizona; Ted Wilder, Caldwell, Idaho; J.R. Wilder, of Omaha; and Donald Wilder of Napa, Idaho.
Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home on Monday afternoon with the Rev. John Bauserman conducting the services. Burial was in the Blair cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Walter Petersen, George Linden, Floyd Nottleman, Claus Detjens, Elmer Truhlsen and Fred Bloemer.
