Katherine Lena Micheel Buried In Blair Friday
Funeral services were held Friday, July 18, at 2 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home for Katherine Lena Micheel, 66, who died Tuesday, July 15, 1980, at her home in rural Kennard. Rev. John Petersen conducted the services. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
Katherine Lena Micheel was born March 17, 1914, in Fort Calhoun, to Henry and Mary Steffen Kuhl. She was a homemaker throughout her lifetime and was married to Gerhart Micheel.
Her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, William Micheel, of Kennard. Four brothers, William Kuhl, Herman Kuhl and Emil Kuhl, all of Blair, and Hans Kuhl of Kennard, also survive her.
Pallbearers were Vernon Kuhl, Gary Kuhl, Lester Kuhl, Erwin Kuhl, Ed Kuhl and Dan Kuhl.
Clare Cowing was organist. She was also vocalist.
Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
