Bud Lorsch

We, as a family, are truly grateful and overwhelmed by all the loving support of family and friends since Bud’s sudden death. It’s a consolation for all of us to realize that Bud must have touched many people’s lives by the number that attended the services, the beautiful flowers, food brought in, memorial gifts and an abundance of cards received by the family.

Bud loved farming as this was his life. After retiring, he became a skilled craftsman. His hands were always busy, building, repairing and doing for others and never asking for anything in return. He especially liked working with oak: making furniture, shelves, frames and a wide variety of other articles. Many people have something in their homes that Bud made and he surrounded his family with special oak pieces so he has left precious memories to us all.

Thanks to Pastor Barb for the wonderful words of tribute to Bud’s life. Also to his sister Eleanor for her special tribute to him.

We appreciated the caring ways of the Aman funeral home, the music and the pallbearers and special thanks to the Kennard Rescue Squad.

We feel we have been truly blessed to have had Bud as a husband, father and grandfather and we are very appreciative of all the support shown us at this trying time.
