VIOLA DEIN DIES SATURDAY IN BENSON
Viola Emmaline (Hazard) Dein was born January 25, 1899, at Irvington, Nebraska. She was the youngest daughter of George and Amanda (Elton) Hazard.
She was married to Christian Dein April 6, 1935 and lived on a farm until they moved to Benson, Nebraska. She stayed with her sister, Mrs. Harley (Amy) Appleby, for a time before entering the Good Shepherd Home at Blair.
She was later taken to the Maple Crest Home in Benson, where she passed away January 24, 1981, one day prior to her 82nd birthday.
She is survived by her sister, Amy Appleby; and several nieces and nephews, including Glen Hazard, Elsie Rafiner and Pearl Livermore, all of Blair.
