HUSBAND OF FORMER BLAIR RESIDENT DIES

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 10, at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Omaha for John M. DeLaCastro, age 55, of 12422 Clarkson Avenue in Omaha, who passed away July 7 after a lingering illness. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.

He was married on September 17, 1949 in Fremont, Nebraska to Rose Marie Schjodt, daughter of the late Albert and Marie Schjodt of Blair.

Mr. DeLaCastro is survived by his wife, Rose Marie of Omaha; four sons, Steven of Dallas, Texas; Stuart of LaVista; Richard and Jon Paul, both of Omaha; brother Richard of Conifer, Colorado; and aunt, Irma Golliglee of Fremont, Nebraska.
