Mrs. Ruth Essie Moore died December 27th at the Blair Community Hospital where she had been confined for 10 days with pneumonia and a heart condition.

Mrs. Moore was born November 15, 1888 in Montgomery, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. William Vincent and was 79 years of age at the time of her death.

About 40 years ago she was married to William Moore. He passed away several years ago and she continued to live in her home near the Blair City Library.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Blair.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 29th at the Campbell Mortuary at 2 P.M. The Rev. Guy McClare officiated. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.
