Shirlee A. Nance, 78, of Papillion, died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Papillion Manor.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Papillion. Interment will be in Cedar Dale Cemetery. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Tuesday with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Shirley A. George was born Sept. 9, 1935, in Omaha.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kirk and Jacqueline Nance of Papillion; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jeff Thompson of La Vista; grandchildren: Dustin Nance, Emma Nance, Elle Thompson, Faith Thompson and Lucy Thompson; many other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; and her parents, Warren and Luella George.

Memorials are suggested to the Papillion-La Vista Schools Educational Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.

Kahler Dolce Mortuary of Papillion is in charge of arrangements.
