MARGARET TAGG DIED AT MADISON LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services were held at Blair Tuesday for Margaret (Peggy) Tagg, daughter of a onetime well-known Blair merchant, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Pounds. Mrs. Tagg was the sister of James W. Pounds of south Sixteenth Street and an aunt of James D. Pounds, Blair City Councilman.

Mrs. Tagg was born at Blair March 28, 1919 and died at Madison, Wisconsin last Friday at the age of 55. She was a housewife and registered nurse.

Mrs. Tagg was a graduate of Blair High School and she grew up in Blair.

As a young woman she was married to Harold Tagg and the couple lived at Crown Point, Indiana. She is survived by a son, Michael and by a daughter, Mr. (Mrs.?) Michelle Bhudatt Paliwal, of Madison, Wisconsin. She is also survived by one grandchild. Her parents preceded her in death but her brother, James W. Pounds resides in Blair at 594 South 16th Street.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 28th at the Campbell Mortuary. The Rev. Gordon Patterson conducted the service and burial was made in the Blair cemetery.

Pallbearers were Don Lippincott, Richard Lippincott, Clark Lippincott, Tom Lippincott, James D. Pounds and Frank Reyzlik.

Margaret (Peggy) Tagg, age 55, of Crown Point, Indiana, passed away on May 24. She is survived by her husband, Harold, Indiana; 2 children, Michael of Indiana and Mrs. Michele Bhudatt Paliwal of Madison, Wisconsin; 1 brother, James W. Pounds of Blair, Nebraska; and 1 grandchild.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Campbell Mortuary and interment will be in Blair Cemetery.
