Services for Ted Nelsen Were Held Saturday
Services for 64 year old Theodore John Nelsen were held on Saturday, May 1, at the Congregational Church in Blair. Mr. Nelsen passed away following an illness at the Blair Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Vinona Nelsen, three children, 1 brother and 3 sisters. The children are Douglas of Glendale, California; Russell, of Blair; and Mrs. Mike (Renee) Nuzum of Pisgah, Iowa.
The brothers are Vernon of Denver, Josephine Romero of Denver, Irene Brazauch of Denver and Virginia Plegge of Los Angeles.
Mr. Nelsen was a farmer in the Blair area for many years. He was a veteran. Mr. Nelsen was born on January 7, 1912, at Orum, Nebraska.
Rev. John Fritzmeier was in charge of the services with Campbell Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Pallbearers being Robert Jensen, Gilbert Stork, Ronald Jensen, Ernest Jensen, Rolland Smith, Jr., and Norman Warrick.
