Master John F. Moller
Master John F. Moller, who was buried in the Ft. Calhoun (Neb.) cemetery, Jan. 20, 1913, was a son of John Moller and wife and was born Feb. 2, 1896, on a farm less than two miles from the post office and after several years schooling here removed with his parents to Wann about two years ago. This writer has known him all his life as not over-strong, but remarkably quiet. He left besides his parents, five brothers and two sisters and many other relatives near Blair, Omaha and Plattsmouth, as well as here, many of whom attended the funeral. Some of the absent ones sent their regards in beautiful flowers. Rev. Lang, M. E. pastor at Blair, officiated in the Presbyterian church, concluding his discourse in German. Mrs. Chas. Rathjen, Mrs. Chas. Sierk, Miss Grace Neale and Miss Edith Sierk sang the anthem, with Mrs. Wallie McMillan at the organ. The pallbearers were six of his former schoolmates. He was buried near the graves of his grandfather and grandmother, a dear old German couple who left behind them so many sweet and lasting memories. He had been baptized in the Lutheran church Nov. 8, 1886.
