FORMER WASHINGTON COUNTY RESIDENT DIES JANUARY 31

Ella Kuhlmann Thomas passed away January 31 at the age of 72 at Hot Springs, Arkansas, where she has made her home for the past several years.

Ella Kuhlmann Thomas was born January 16, 1905 at Tekamah and was the daughter of Henry and Louise Kuhlmann. Her family moved to Herman a few years after her birth.

She is survived by a son, Jack Thomas of Hinsdale, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Wells Chandler of Mesa, Arizona; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews living in the Blair area.

She requested that her body be donated to science.
