MARION E. TIETZ, 78
Marion E. Tietz, 78, of Nashville, died Nov. 25, 2000 at her home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Omaha.
Marion Elizabeth Tietz was born Dec. 13, 1921, in Omaha. She was raised in north Omaha, and since her marriage, lived in Nashville, and for a few years, in DeSoto. She was a member of the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church and Rebeccas.
On June 14, 1940, she married Lawrence Tietz in Omaha.
She is survived by her husband; sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence A. Jr. and Donna Tietz and Richard and Cathy Tietz; a brother, George Tuttle; brother-in-law, Garland Frost; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Fix, all of Omaha; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Frost, and sister-in-law, Myrtle Wolf.
Memorials are suggested to the family. Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun is in charge of arrangements.
