Pauline Smith Is Buried On Friday

Services for Pauline Smith, 75, were held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, north of Arlington. Burial was in St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Backhus officiated.

Mrs. Smith died Wednesday morning in the annex at the Fremont Hospital.

She was born March 29, 1903 in Arlington and lived there all her life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, St. Paul’s Women’s League and Bell Creek Sewing Circle.

She married Fred Smith on August 19, 1928. He died June 28, 1947.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Ecktenkamp of Wayne, Nebraska.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
