Ester Mundlin
The funeral for Ester Mundlin, 60, of Arlington will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fremont.
She died Wednesday, March 24, 2010.
Ester Vinuya was born Aug. 9, 1919, in Tarlac, Philippines to Jose and Virginia (Angles) Vinuya. She married Raymond Mundlin on June 2, 1976, in Olongapo City in the Philippines. She came to the United States in 1976, then lived in Japan for three years and returned to the Philippines for two years. She moved to Nebraska and lived in Lyons for a year and a half until moving to Arlington in 1986.
She was a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Blair.
Survivors include: her husband, Raymond; a son, Joseph Mundlin and his fiancée, Lindsay Smeal of Herman; a daughter, Christina Mundlin of Arlington; a sister, Pricilla Atustian of the Philippines; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 13 siblings.
Steve Ward will officiate Monday’ service. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery in Arlington.
