60 Years Ago (Feb. 7, 1889) County Attorney Martin Ballard of Chadron, former Blairite while a member of the law firm of Ballard & Walton, died Thursday at Chadron.

He had left Blair in 1885 after residing here since 1870. Services and burial were to be in Blair.
