Nels H. Nelson Died Saturday, Funeral Tuesday

Nels Hansen Nelson, 78 years of age, 2143 Front Street, died Saturday at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, the Rev. Geo. Palleson officiating, with interment in Blair Cemetery.

Mr. Nelson, who was born Sept. 24, 1886 at Fremont, is survived by his wife, Raida; and two daughters, Mrs. Martin Hansen (Rachel) of Blair and Mrs. Arthur E. Mason (Evelyn) of Fremont; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Nelson was a retired farmer. He lived on the same farm near Blair for 52 years before retiring and moving to Blair in 1950.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Altekruse, George Nelson, Wm. P. Christensen, Morris Petersen, Callie Hansen and Marius Hansen.

Campbell Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
