Daniel F. Fast died from the effects of an apoplectic stroke Sunday night and the funeral was held at the Methodist Church at 2 o’clock this afternoon, Rev. W. H. Underwood officiating.
He was born in Ohio Feb. 5th, 1853, so was nearly 71 years of age. He came to Blair from Iowa seven years ago and was living on the North side. He leaves his wife and two sons, Curtis, of this city, and another son in Colorado.

Daniel Francis Fast Passed Away Sunday
Daniel Francis Fast, a resident of the north side died at his home on Sunday, December 9, 1923. Mr. Fast was born February 5, 1853, and had lived in Washington County for many years and formerly lived on a farm north of Blair.
The funeral was held at the Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. W. H. Underwood officiating, and burial was made in the cemetery east of the city.
A widow and several grown children survive to whom the sympathy of a large number of friends is extended.
