Joyce A. Young, 71, of Fort Calhoun, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014.

Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Roeder Mortuary’s 108th St. Chapel in Omaha at 2727 N. 108th St. Interment will be in West Lawn-Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

She was born March 16, 1943, to Alfred and Lucille Wolf.

She is survived by her husband, Gary L. Young; children: Scott (Mike Benardo) and Michelle Young-Oestmann; grandchildren: Kai and Reese Young-Oestmann; nieces, nephews, family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Lucille Wolf; siblings Richard Wolf and Jackie Wolf Petersen.

The family has requested memorials be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
