Richard E. Stephens, 85, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, at Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha with military honors conducted by the U.S. Marines. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Braman Mortuary’s 72nd Street Chapel, 1702 N. 72nd Street.

Richard was born Oct. 10, 1928.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty; sons: Daniel and wife Bonnie, David and wife Jennette, Mark and wife Terri, and Douglas and wife Carol; seven grandchildren and 8 1/2 great-grandchildren.
