Mrs. Cooper, 84, Is Buried Sunday
Blair Woman Succumbed At West South Street Home Last Friday
Mrs. Frances Cooper, 84, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stricklett on west South street last Friday, after an illness. Born in 1851, as Parmelia Frances Pennington, she was married to John Cooper July 27, 1871. Mr. Cooper died 19 years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Cooper are a brother, George Pennington, of Grand Island, and a sister, Mrs. Oliver Greeno, of Randolph. There are several nieces and nephews.
With Rev. Thomas J. Reese of the Baptist church in charge, funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Bendorf Funeral home. Burial was in the local cemetery by the side of her husband.
