Tedford Reeves Niday, 66
Tedford Niday, 66, of Blair, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999, at his home from complications due to cancer.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Tedford Reeves Niday was born August 13, 1933, to Kermit and Nellie (Reeves) Niday in Harvard, Iowa. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving his country from December of 1953 to December of 1955.
On March 5, 1956, he married Maureen Golden in Seymour, Iowa. He worked as a boat operator for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers for 28 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maureen of Blair; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Laurie Niday of Memphis, Tenn., Ted. G and Kerry Niday of Dublin, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Terry Seffron of Omaha; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Rose Niday of Plattsburg, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, William.
Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
