MRS. MINNIE CHRISTENSEN BURIED IN BENNINGTON

Mrs. Minnie Christensen of Bennington passed away of Mary 31, 1971 at the Blair Hospital.

Mrs. Christensen was born May 18, 1901 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fuhrman of Ft. Calhoun. She was baptized on June 20, 1901 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Blair and confirmed on April 16, 1916 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Florence.

She married Albert Christensen of Ft. Calhoun on Sept. 26, 1923. They farmed all their married life having lived on their present farm for 22 years. They were the parents of four children, two of whom passed away in infancy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert, daughter, Arlene, and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Lyle, daughter-in-law, Mary, 1 sister, Mrs. Margaret Prochnow, 4 brothers, Otto and Herman Fuhrman of Ft. Calhoun and Emil and Rudy of Blair, 3 grandchildren, Kari, Kaye, and Kent Christensen.

Funeral services were held at Zion Lutheran Church (north) 144th and Ida St., on June 3, 1971, Rev. Albert Engler officiating. Interment at Ft. Calhoun, Nebr.

Pallbearers were nephews, Dennis, David, Richard, Carl Fuhrman, Dean Christensen, and Ronald Kerstetter.
