Roy Walter Barton, age 74 years, Korean War Veteran, died 21 April 2005, Huntsville, Texas.

Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin R. Barton and Rose E. (Bolter); daughter, Alyce A., son Roy W., Jr., siblings, Sadie (Parmelee) Wheeler, Bonnie Abel, Goldie Abel, Blossom Lane, Howard Barton, Rose Gibson and Eva Jones.

Survived by loving wife of over 50 years, Joanne J. (Armstrong) Riverside, Texas, brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbur and Rosemary (Sproul) Barton, LaVista, NE, Dennie and Pat (Renner) Barton, Otoe, NE; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Ruth (Armstrong) Kathman, Cherokee Village, AR; son and daughter- in-law, Russell and Deborah (Gorcos) Barton, Papillion, NE; daughter and son- in-law, Cecilia and M. Lee Murrah Bloomfield, MI; daughters, Deola Morrical, Kalispell, MT, Wilburta Barton. Bandera, TX, Roxanne Cox, Council Bluffs, IA; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Hannafious) Barton-Smith, New Port, WA; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Roy's request, there will be no formal service, and his ashes will be scattered at Lake Livingston, TX.
