Sharon Baublitz, 59

Sharon Ruth Baublitz, 59, of Carthage, Mo., died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997 at McCune-Brooks Hospital at Carthage after a four-year illness.

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God Church in Carthage. Rev. Ron Blauvelt and Rev. James Perkins are officiating. Burial will be in the Avilla Cemetery at Avilla.

Mrs. Baublitz was born Jan. 30, 1938, at Benton, Illinois. She graduated from Evangel College in Springfield, MO in 1960.

She was a schoolteacher in Thedford, Neb., until 1977. She also taught at Ruskin Heights Elementary School in Kansas, City, Mo.; Omaha, Neb.; and South Sioux City, Iowa.

She married Perry C. Baublitz Aug. 7, 1964, at Walthill, Neb. She moved to Carthage in January, 1997 from Blair.

She attended First Assembly of God Church at Carthage.

Survivors are her husband, Perry; two sons, Brad Baublitz, Reeds, MO.; and Brenton Baublitz, Desoto, Kansas.; a brother, Ken Cornwell, Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Nila Blauvelt, Casper, Wyo.; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Kent Gaines, Jeff Moore, Joel Cornwell, Vaughn Bluvelt, Bill Parker and Rome Freeman.

Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage is in charge of arrangements.
