Martha Nielsen, 91, of Scribner, Neb., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997, at the Good Samaritan Center.

Services were Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Mrs. Nielsen was born May 16, 1906 in Exira, Iowa, to Anton and Marie (Aagard) Nelson. She was baptized and confirmed at Exira. She attended Dana College. On Feb. 18, 1930, she married Axel Nielsen in Iowa. They farmed and spent most of their life in the Blair area. She worked at Crowell Home.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church.

Survivors are two sons, Donald and Robert of West Point, Neb.; two daughter, Elaine Kinnitt of Mapleton, Ore. and Janet Storz of Arvada, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Axel, in 1969 and her parents.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
