Rudolph Andreasen, who has for years resided in the Orum neighborhood, passed away last Friday morning, Aug. 25th after suffering for over a year with stomach trouble.

Deceased was born in Denmark and was at his death 72 years 5 months and 25 days old. He came to Nebraska in 1883 and settled in this county where he has since made his home. He was married to 1884 to Mary Goll who passed away in 1892. He remarried in 1895, this time to Emma Paulsen and to them two children were born, Emanuel of this county and Amos who resides in Lincoln. Both sons are married and with the wife grieve over the death of the father and husband.

Mr. Andreasen was a member of the Lutheran church at Orum and it was here that the last sad rites were held last Sunday afternoon following a short ceremony in the home. Interment was made in the Orum cemetery.
