Services were Sunday for Ray Keeler
Funeral services for Ray C. Keeler, 74, of Arlington, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont.
Mr. Keeler, a piano tuner, died Thursday evening in the Douglas County Hospital in Omaha. He had been injured in an auto accident several months ago.
He was born on June 27, 1909 in Phoenix, and lived most of his life in the Arlington and Fremont area. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 854, Fremont. He served in the United States Army in Northern France and Central Europe during World War II.
He married Elsie Menking on January 12, 1948 in Papillion. She died November 2, 1982.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Keeler of San Diego, California; one sister, Lucille Keeler of Fremont; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Dr. Gene Laramy of the Arlington Community Church officiated at the Sunday service. Burial was in the Arlington Cemetery.
