My grandparents, Otto and Lizzie Mencke! A wedding photo I think. They raised thirteen children (12 girls and one boy) which led to forty one first cousins. Their home was the gathering spot for numerous family get togethers. Their doors were always open for company. They always had a large garden and homemade bread was always available! While the cousins chased around, the adults had card games going! Oh what great memories!! Their home on State St is still there (across from Con-E-Co), but not the well-kept attractive house and yard they maintained.
