Clinton R. Appleby, a long-time resident of Washington County, died in the Fremont hospital last Sunday evening, December 29th. He was 90 years old.

Mr. Appleby farmed south of Blair for 26 years but moved to Arlington in 1944 where he lived until 1961 when he moved to Fremont.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille and by one son, Wayne. There are three grandchildren.

Three brothers and a sister survive. They are Howard of Fremont, Harley of Blair, and Elza of Scribner. The sister is Mrs. Ruby Ruggie of Burton, Ohio.
