CLARENCE SORENSEN BURIED IN WAYNE APRIL 16TH

Clarence Sorensen, age 70 years. A former rural resident of Kennard, passed away at a Sioux City Hospital Sunday morning, April 14th after a lingering illness.

He was married to Mabel Gossard February 27, 1924 at Wayne, Nebraska and since that time had been in business in Wayne.

Besides his wife Mabel, he is survived by two daughters (Evelyn) Mrs. Robert Parke of Minneapolis and (Donna) Mrs. Willis Johnson of Wayne and eight grandchildren.

Also four brothers, Albert, Andrew, Ola and Lester Sorensen, all of Kennard, and two sisters, Alma Lund of the Good Shepherd Home and (May) Mrs. Carl Lund of Fremont.

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Wednesday at the Methodist Church in Wayne with interment also at Wayne.

Funeral services for Clarence Sorensen, 70, were held April 17 at 2pm at First Methodist Church, Wayne.
