NIELS P. SORENSEN SERVICES TODAY

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) for a former Kennard farmer, Niels P. Sorensen, 67 years of age, of LaMoni, Iowa. He died Monday.

The Rev. Peter Thorslev will officiate with interment in Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. Sorensen, who was born October 17, 1891, lived in Washington County until a few years ago when he moved to Iowa with his wife.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; one son, Richard Sorensen of Omaha; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert Allen of Oskaloosa, Iowa; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Lund of Kennard and Mrs. Carl Lund of Fremont; five brothers, Ola, Albert, Andrew and Lester Sorensen of Kennard; and Clarence Sorensen of Wayne.

Pallbearers were Soren Wolsmann, William Wulbern Sr., Harry Svogerson, Clarence Matzen, William Vogt and Paul Wulf.
