HOWARD CLAUSEN TO BE BURIED THURSDAY
Funeral services will be a 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, at Campbell Funeral Home for Howard T. Clausen, 70, who died October 18, 1981, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital.
Rev. Kurt Sortland will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.
Howard T. Clausen was born in Blair on May 30, 1904, to Edgar C. and Irene Jacobson Clausen. A painter, he was married to Georgia Buckingham. He was living at the Tekamah Senior Citizens Center at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia, of Woodland Hills, California; and three daughters, Georgia Clausen, Santa Monica, California; Jean Hall, Glenwood, Iowa; and Caroline Wunsch, Woodland Hills, California. Four stepchildren, William Wentworth, Grand Junction, Colorado; Mae Hallstead, Porterville, California; Wesley Wentworth, Oakland, California, Darlene Pooler, Oakland, California; three sisters, Crystal Eggelston, Sacramento, California; Marion Strong, Sacramento, California; and Leona Clausen, Sacramento, California; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren also survive him.
Pallbearers for the services are Rollie Foster, Pat McCormick, Freeman Synack and Marvin Wooldridge.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge or arrangements for the service.
