Beth Magill’s Mother Buried In Tekamah

Services were held Friday, October 3, at the United Methodist Church, in Tekamah for Daisy Kjeldgaard. Mrs. Kjeldgaard, 86, died October 1 in Oakland. Rev. Ralph Ford officiated the services.

Interment was at Tekamah Cemetery.

Daisy Woodard Kjeldgaard was born February 7, 1894, at Tekamah to Merrick B. and Anna Woodard.

She was married to Clarence Kjeldgaard at Tekamah on December 18, 1917. The couple had four sons and three daughters.

Mrs. Kjeldgaard was a member of the VFW and Legion auxiliaries and a past volunteer worker at the VA Hospital with 1,000 hours of service.

Mr. Kjeldgaard preceded his wife in death in 1966.
