David D. Spafford, 55 of Blair, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Boyd E. Braman Mortuary in Omaha. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the mortuary.
David Donald Spafford was born Aug. 13, 1947 in Alhambra, Calif., to Don and Miriam Spafford.
He served in the U.S. Army for 11 years, and was active in the Army Reserves for many years. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart Award.
He was employed as a physics technician at the nuclear power plant.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his mother, Miriam; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Elizabeth Spafford of Omaha; daughters and son-in-law, Davina and Tom Stuart of Anchorage, Ak.; and D’Nita Spafford of Blair; five grandchildren; and one brother, Pat Spafford.
