LT. CDR. STANTON DIED DEC. 4TH

Lt. Commander Edward A. Stanton, a resident of Blair during World War II, died at his home at Highland, Kansas, on December 4th, it has been learned in Blair. The Stantons lived here during the war and Cdr. Stanton was in charge of some naval inspection work at the Petersen and Lytle plant which was engaged in building some sea-going barges for the navy.
