Chas. Klindt, of Fort Calhoun, Died

Charles E. Klindt, long-time resident of the Fort Calhoun area, died in an Omaha hospital late last week. He was 76 years old. Mr. Klindt had lived in Omaha for a number of years at 3019 Titus Avenue.

He was born November 12, 1892 on the family farm in the Wranch school district. He grew up on the farm but moved to Omaha when he became an adult where he was employed in the traffic department of the Omaha Grain Exchange. At one time he was President of the Grain Exchange Traffic Association.

He is survived by his wife, Marian and by two daughters and two sisters. The daughters are Mrs. Margretta Sabb, of Omaha and Mrs. Henning (Rae) Elsasser, of Topeka, Kansas.

A sister, Margaret Greta Klindt lives in Kansas City, Mo. and another sister, Alma Klindt, lives in Omaha.

Mr. and Mrs. Klindt celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary two years ago.

Funeral services are being held this morning (Monday) at the Trinity Lutheran church in Minne Lusa and burial, under the direction of the Sievers Funeral Home of Ft. Calhoun, will be made in the Forest Lawn cemetery.
