LAST RITES FOR HENRY STEFFEN
Henry Steffen, 83 years of age, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, July 31st. Mr. Steffen was active in farming most of his life, which he spent in and around Ft. Calhoun.
He was born in Germany April 25th, 1879 and came to this country while very young. His parents, 3 sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
He leaves one sister, Mrs. Theresa Moeller of Omaha; five nephews and 11 nieces. Nephews are John Ketchmark, John Wreidt, of Ft. Calhoun; Arnold Moeller, George Ketchmark of Omaha. Nieces are Mrs. Fred Hansen of Ft. Calhoun; Mrs. Ernest Gaver, Herman; Mrs. Wm. Webster, Oakland; Mrs. Don Johnson, Mrs. Ralph Thornton, Mrs. George Ketchmark, all of Omaha. Others are from out of state.
Services will be held on Friday at 2:00 o’clock at the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church in Ft. Calhoun. The minister is from the Miller Park Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Arnold Jipp, Wm. Kay, Hans Kay, John Ketchmark, George Ketchmark and John Wriedt.
