Fred W. Beerman Died at Fremont
Mr. Fred William Beerman was born September 22, 1874 at Dudensen, Hanover, Germany. He was baptized October 18, 1874 and confirmed in the Lutheran Church April 1888.
He came to the United States as a youth of 16 years and worked as a farm hand in the Sheridan Township vicinity in Washington County until January 22, 1908 when he was married to Marie Seelmeyer.
They settled on a farm in the Herman vicinity, where he lived until his wife’s death in June 1962. For the past ten months he has been a resident at the Dodge County Annex in Fremont. He passed away at the Dodge County Hospital on April 16, 1963.
Survivors: one son, Elvin Beerman, Herman; daughter (Olinda) Mrs. Clarence Brandert, and two grandchildren, Jean Brandert and Veron Brandert of Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday April 20, at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Pastor E. Eckhardt officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
