Frances Behrendt, 83
Frances M. Behrendt, 83, of Herman, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Frances M. Behrendt was born June 29, 1921, in Arlington to Nels and Emma (Thielfoldt) Svendgard. She was a graduate of Arlington High School.
On Feb. 28, 1946, she married Curtis Behrendt in Fremont.
Mrs. Behrendt was a lifelong resident of rural Herman.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Stella Behrendt of Herman, daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Terry Traynor of Omaha; four grandchildren and their families, one great-grandson; sister, Ruth Plugge of Arlington; and cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, in 2001; an infant sister; and infant twin grandsons.
Memorials are suggested to the Washington County Food Pantry.
