SERVICES FRIDAY FOR RUTH O'HANLON
Services will be held Friday, September 30, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair for Ruth Kathryn O'Hanlon, 90, who died September 27, 1983, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.
The Rev. Daniel Galas will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery at Blair.
Ruth Kathryn O'Hanlon was born December 16, 1892, the oldest daughter of James and Grace Hayes Maher. She graduated from Blair Schools and spent two year at St. Mary's of Notre Dame. She graduated from the University of Nebraska with a major in Latin.
She belonged to Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was a life-long member of the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church Parish.
She married Reed O'Hanlon, Sr., February 15, 1914.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed, in 1969; three sons, Reed, Jr., Robert and Clark; four brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wm. (Ruth Ann) Samson of Blair; one son-in-law, William Samson; and daughters-in-law, Blanche Schroeder, Janet O'Hanlon and Eleanor O'Hanlon. Twenty grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren also survive her.
Pallbearers will be David O'Hanlon, John O'Hanlon, Kevin O'Hanlon, Michael O'Hanlon, Tom O'Hanlon, John Samson and Reed Samson.
Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
