Harry Kassebaum Killed When S-26 Sinks In Pacific Waters
Relatives at Arlington and Fremont have received word of the death of Harry Kassebaum, former Arlington youth, who was killed when the U. S. submarine S-26 was sunk in Pacific waters January 24.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kassebaum, who formerly lived on an Arlington farm.
The youth had been in the Navy seven years. His wife is in Alabama.

Harry Kassebaum Lost on Sunken Sub
A former Washington county boy, Harry Kassebaum, was among those killed when the United States submarine 8-26 was sunk Jan. 24 relatives have learned. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kassebaum, who formerly farmed near here.
Note: His name was on the USS S-26 (SS-131) listing that was lost January 24, 1942
