Orland Lendt Dies in Army

Son Of Ft. Calhoun Man Dies At Ft. Ord; Burial At O’Neill

Orland Lendt, 33, brother of Mrs. R. R. Braley of just south of Ft. Calhoun, died a Ft. Ord, Calif., July 27, where he was stationed with the army. His father makes his home with Mr. and Mrs. Braley, and a sister, Miss Helen Lendt, lives in Omaha.

The body was sent to O’Neill, Neb., where funeral services were held Sunday, August 1.
