Word was received here Saturday evening of the death of Mrs. Nancy Allen Spink. Mrs. Spink was a sister of the late William Swihart and has made her home in Council Bluffs, Ia., for the past twenty years. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church and interment in the Kennard Cemetery.

Note (per family member Merri Vinton): Nancy was the daughter of Israel and Mary (Brewster) Swihart. She first married Alfred M. Allen (18 Nov 1868) son of John M. Allen who is buried in the Allen Cemetery (Pioneer Memorial). He also went by A. M. or "Mitt". It is not known where he is buried. Her second husband was Ira Spink (before 1920).
