Pay Tribute To Pvt. Raymond Voss

Tribute was paid to Pvt. Raymond G. Voss, infantryman, killed in action in Northern Italy October 24, 1944, at a memorial service held at Cavour, South Dakota. An immense crowd gathered to do homage to his memory.

Deceased was a native of Kennard and attended rural school in the county. He later graduated from Cavour High School, and later was married at Cavour.

Survivors are his widow; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Voss, and a sister, Mrs. Lionel Anderson, of Huron, South Dakota.
